Computer Skills Training
In today's digital world virtually everyone can benefit by having some computer and
Internet knowledge. And for people who know little or nothing about using those
technologies, or who lack confidence in their skills, Computer and Internet Fundamentals
(IC3) is just the course they need.
This basic skills proficiency course employs Agincourt Learning's interactive multimedia
to deliver instruction in effective use of personal computers and the Windows operating
system, functions of word processors and spreadsheets, and use of e-mail and Web
browser applications.
After completing this course, even novice users feel confident in their ability to
accomplish basic computer and Internet tasks. And if they want certification to
demonstrate their skills - to a prospective employer, for example - Computer & Internet
Fundamentals (IC3) course has been verified to meet or surpass all IC3 certification
exam objectives.
IC3 is the first validated, standards-based training and certification program for basic
computing and Internet skills. Passing the IC3 certification exams demonstrates
knowledge and skills required for basic use of computer hardware, software, networks
and the Internet. IC3 is used by a number of provincial school systems in Canada to
ensure that graduating high school students have at least those basic computing skills.
